The hydraulic connections and the seals in a solar system are exposed to high loads. No international standards are available for testing and evaluating these special requirements. SPF has therefore developed its own certification procedures for the two most common problems
Stagnation resistance
Stagnation is an operating condition that can lead to steam formation and high thermal loads. With the specially designed equipment, we simulate these conditions and certify stagnation-resistant products.
Mechanical-thermal resistance
The frequent temperature changes during normal operation of a solar system lead to thermal expansions and mechanical stresses on the hydraulic connection parts. With the specially designed system, we simulate these conditions and certify suitable products
