Governance
The strategic leadership of OST lies in the hands of the University Board of Trustees. It sets the long-term framework for the university’s development, makes key decisions, and assumes responsibility for a sustainable and future-oriented direction. On this page, you will find the members of the University Board of Trustees as well as all individuals who are part of OST’s strategic leadership structure.
The University Board of Trustees is the strategic management of OST. Members are selected by the governments of the respective sponsoring regions. The Board consists of 15 members from business, society, science and education administration from the seven OST sponsors.
The regional advisory council of OST serve as mediators, representatives, and initiators, strengthening the connection between the university and the region. In close collaboration with the University Board, they promote knowledge exchange, convey the concerns of regional stakeholders, establish contacts with businesses, institutions, and educational organizations, support project funding, and thus contribute to the profile and visibility of OST.
