Medical Engineering

The ILT has specialised in the development and optimisation of medical products for applications in rehabilitation and other fields of medicine. These products are developed in close cooperation with the respective user groups.

Our focus

  • Development and optimisation of medical devices (including mechanics, electronics and software)
  • Close cooperation with all stakeholder groups in their respective application environment (user-centred design, human-centred design)
  • Development of tools to test and validate medical devices
