IGW Institute for Health Sciences

The Institute of Health Sciences (IGW) focuses on topics in nursing and therapy. The institute has seven centres: evidence-based care, dementia, oncology, palliative care, rehabilitation & health promotion, and physiotherapy (MOVE-IT).

The aim of the institute of Health Sciences is to make a sustainable contribution to the further development of healthcare through interdisciplinary research and cooperation in the fields of nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychology.

The institute facilitates the transfer of knowledge between science, practice and education. It develops innovative solutions for complex health challenges and strengthens interprofessional cooperation to ensure a holistic and patient-centred care.
