Research project
Our system opens up new possibilities for scientists in the field of animal research in preclinical basic research, while ensuring the protection of laboratory animals.
In veterinary medicine, continuous and simultaneous monitoring of vital signs such as heart rate (HR) and respiratory rate (RR) is essential to ensure animal welfare. Vigilitech AG, in collaboration with the Institute of Microelectronics, Embedded Systems and Sensors (IMES), has successfully integrated analog sensor electronics into a microchip to offer new possibilities in animal research.
