Research project
A demonstrator for acoustic levitation and control of the levitating particles has been developed at IMES. Levitation has been achieved by generating standing ultrasonic waves in between two speaker arrays.
Our system implements a hardware accelerator on a Xilinx Zynq MPSoC, which enables the real-time computation of the phase shifts.
