*To obtain professional qualification, a 10-month physiotherapy internship in a healthcare institution or private practice must be completed after graduation.

Program Focus and Content
The Bachelor's degree program in Physiotherapy at OST focuses on key topics that address current and future challenges in healthcare. In the 6th semester, you can choose your area of specialization through an elective module.
Mental Health

You will gain an in-depth understanding of the connections between the body, movement, and mental health. In addition, you will learn how to effectively apply non-pharmacological interventions to treat long-term stress and fatigue conditions as well as mental illnesses.
Training and Sport

You will study the biological effects of physical activity, exercise, and sports on health in depth, with a particular focus on rehabilitation training. In addition, you will gain insights into elite sports.
Internal Medicine

You will specialize in the rehabilitation of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, metabolic disorders, and cancer. In addition, you will expand your physiotherapy skills in intensive care, acute care hospitals, and the rehabilitation of individuals with diseases affecting organ systems.
